Steam cleaning is also known as hot water extraction cleaning (HWE). It works by injecting water into the carpet using a high pressure hose. Detergent is sprayed onto the carpet which is activated by hot water. The water is then extracted, removing dirt, soil and allergens.

 

The hot water soil extraction method is also known as deep cleaning and can remove debris that are deep within the carpet fibres. For stubborn stains a  pre-treatment will be used with other cleaning agents to break down the stain. This allows the water to penetrate deeper before being extracted out.
